Gateway is looking for a Trade Show Exhibit Service Technician

The service technician is responsible for providing customer service, respond to onsite show installation and repairs, as well as helping to diagnose technical problems and determine quick solutions. You will be driving our client's assets to shows, helping with pre-show installation and dismantle of trade show exhibits. This will require travel across the country for a minimum of 125 spread throughout the year, with our busy seasons being in the spring and fall.  

Job Requirements & Responsibilities :

  • Minimum 125 Nights of travel per year (does include weekends)
  • Assist with exhibit I&D’s (Install and Dismantle) and manage and repairs, maintenance, and running pre-show tests of booth
  • Ability to troubleshoot in a variety of areas (post-delivery issues, repairs, exhibit set up challenges, etc.)
  • General knowledge of carpentry
  • Computer knowledge and familiarity with G Suite, Salesforce, and other company CRMs
  • Accountability and reliability
  • Forklift operation and safety (available after 90-day review) and keeping current forklift safety record updated
  • Warehouse storage

Gateway is looking for a self-motivated, hard-working Business Development Representative to join our team! Our company is dedicated to designing and fabricating innovative exhibits and displays, providing best-in-class event marketing services, and executing forward-thinking marketing solutions. We pride ourselves as a company that maintains an employee-centered, fun work environment while still doing whatever it takes to get the job done. At Gateway, the sales department focuses on seeking sales opportunities with the existing and new customers to sell products and services, by developing rapport.

As an entry level business development representative, you will strictly be responsible for outbound or “hunter” prospecting activities for about 75% of your time in any given week to develop new customer opportunities. The remaining 25% of the time will be focused on administrative sales work and internal meetings & training. This role’s prospecting activities are focused on both warm & cold calling by telephone, cold emailing, pre-qualifying prospects and outreach through social media channels (primarily LinkedIn).  Within this role, advancement opportunity would include travel to some of our trade shows, outside sales, and lead meetings with prospective clients regarding the requested products and services.

You should be interested in learning about the company from the ground up and be motivated to go above and beyond. For someone to be successful in this role, you must have a strong work ethic, be goal-oriented, and have great communication skills. You will be actively seeking out and engage customer prospects, so a strong phone presence and sales background is preferred.

At Gateway, the sales department focuses on seeking sales opportunities with the existing and new customers to sell products and services, by developing rapport.

As a business development representative, your day to day will be 75% of handling outbound or “hunter” prospecting activities and administrative sales work and 25% of internal meetings/training. The types of prospecting activities will include primarily cold and warm calling via telephone, emailing, pre-qualifying prospects, and outreach through social media. Within this role, we have a bonus structure for each lead created into an opportunity based on a quarterly review. You will be working closely with our business development representative(s), as well as sales manager on a day to day operations and goals, and participate in meetings with prospective clients regarding the requested products and services discussed.

For someone to be successful in this role, you must have a strong work ethic, be goal-oriented, and have great communication skills.
