We’re searching for an administrative assistant to join our team to support multiple departments within our company, primarily human resources. You will be responsible for front desk responsibilities including answer inbound phone calls, ordering office and warehouse supplies, and other duties as assigned. The primary focus is to assist in recruiting efforts to grow our company. You will be reviewing resumes, setting up and conducting initial phone interviews, sending assessments, and scheduling in-person interviews.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with multitasking and communicating through email, phone, and messaging systems. They should be well organized and able to support multiple teams and requests that may include confidential information. This person will need to have great communication skills and a high degree of personal integrity when interacting with clients and colleagues. Lastly, this individual should be able to draft emails and documents to help with any necessary meeting preparations.

Gateway Exhibit Services is looking for a CNC Machinist

Gateway is looking for a self-motivated, hard-working CNC Machinist to join our team! The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control machine. This requires experience with CNC programming, setup, inventory management, and time tracking. You will be responsible for diagnosing machine or tooling malfunctions and making proper and corrective adjustments when changing over CNC mills and lathes. The CNC Machinist will maintain quality and safety standards and maintaining equipment and supplies inventory.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, set up procedures, control settings and machining methods, and sequences.
  • Obtain and review work order, part print, and setup sheets to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operation, as well as materials and tools required.
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Document operations by completing production, quality logs, and tracking time spent on each project
  • Knowledge of basic math and the ability to learn how to use measurement devices
  • Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
  • Assist service technicians in tradeshow booth pre-stage as needed
  • Travel up to 25% of the year for research and training purposes for the first year

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • 2+ year CNC operations preferred
  • Forklift, scissor lift, and general warehouse knowledge
  • Computer proficiency with the Google suite, as well as the ability to learn new applications
  • Tradeshow industry knowledge preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop and crouch, push, pull, reach, grasp, feel, talk, and hear.

At Gateway, the sales department focuses on seeking sales opportunities with the existing and new customers to sell products and services, by developing rapport.

You will be responsible for building and executing Gateway’s sales plan with the goal of increasing sale volume. This requires building strong relationships with our internal departments, as well as potential clients. You will work closely with our General Manager, leadership team, and sales team to achieve growth and understanding of the industry and company. The Sales Manager will report directly to the general manager and have a key role in shaping future sales decisions.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all opportunities generated by sales and marketing
  • Must be able to develop and practice our selling process and sales skills
  • Manage 200 opportunities per year from inbound leads
  • Warm calling on SQL’s (Sales Qualified Leads)
  • Database management through current platforms such as Salesforce. Ability to create a scrape list and campaigns for upcoming shows
  • Work directly with the marketing department to coordinate marketing and sales efforts
  • Managing department scorecard, metrics, and present updates at company meetings
  • Light travel up to four times per year to our top trade shows for pre and post-show marketing
  • Provide on-site tours and sales presentations for discovery meetings with potential clients

Gateway is looking for a self-starter Service Technician to join our team! The service technician is responsible for providing customer service, respond to onsite show installation and repairs, as well as helping to diagnose technical problems and determine quick solutions. You will be driving our client's assets to shows, helping with pre-show installation and dismantle of trade show exhibits. This will require travel across the country for a minimum of 125 spread throughout the year, with our busy seasons being in the spring and fall.  

Job Requirements & Responsibilities :

  • Minimum 125 Nights of travel per year (does include weekends)
  • Assist with exhibit I&D’s (Install and Dismantle) and manage and repairs, maintenance, and running pre show tests of booth
  • Ability to troubleshoot in a variety of areas (post-delivery issues, repairs, exhibit set up challenges, etc.)
  • General knowledge of carpentry
  • Computer knowledge and familiarity with G Suite, Salesforce, and other company CRMs
  • Accountability and reliability
  • Forklift operation and safety (available after 90 day review) and keeping current forklift safety record updated

Gateway Exhibit Services is looking for an IT Field Technician

Gateway is looking for a self-starter service technician to join our team! The IT Field Technician is responsible for the care, set up, and deployment of various IT/AV interfaces. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the latest technology in the industry, but also travel across the US to a variety of trade shows. In this role, you will be involved in setting up a tradeshow booth, diagnostics and troubleshooting of all AV and technical needs for our clients, both prior to and during the show days. When you’re not traveling, you will become familiar with Window’s programs which will include standard updates, preloading for upcoming jobs, and identify hardware specifications that are needed for running certain types of media. You will also be working with our IT Specialist on maintaining the server room, wiring, and master database.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • PC and A/V repair and maintenance with problem-solving/debugging skills
  • Upgrades and maintains all equipment as necessary both in-house and off-site
  • Work with assisting service technicians to install and dismantle trade show booth prior to and during show days, as well as supporting our client's needs and equipment checks
  • Familiarity with Windows programs including standard updates, preloading for upcoming jobs, and identify hardware specifications
  • Coordinate installation or supervision of equipment with 3rd party vendors and clients
  • Certify software configurations for client show prior to final packaging and shipping
  • Assisting the IT manager with maintaining server rooms, wiring, and master database
  • Maintain positive relationships with all clients and staff through effective communication
  • Understands basic operational ability of A/V equipment and software to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
  • Other duties as assigned

Required

Travel Requirement: Up to 75% of the year, including weekends and weekdays

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • High School Diploma required. Associates degree is preferred
  • 1-year of customer service or hospitality experience
  • 1-year electronic hardware experience or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license is required. Class E license for team members that may operate company vehicles
  • DOT medical card requirement may need to be met if applicable
